Varghese Kurien

Managing Director

Varghese Kurien is an Investment banker with 5 decades of experience spanning across India, Middle East, Africa, UK and USA. He is a graduate in Commerce with specialization in Advanced Accountancy, Commercial Law, Auditing and Statistics from the University of Guwahati. He spent 11 years with the Indian Air Force supporting India’s Fighter squadrons across many Air Force bases in India. He is also a veteran of 2 of India’s wars in 1965 and 1971 and recipient of Meritorious Service Awards in combat. He relocated to the Middle East in 1970’s and was instrumental in helping one of the most reputed business groups in Kuwait grow from humble beginnings to a multi-billion dollar conglomerate with interests in Food, Real estate across the world, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, FMCG and luxury goods. He was instrumental in setting up and looking after the personal investment division of the company dealing with many international banks and with assets in excess of $4 billion.

Sam Kurien

Founder

Sam Kurien in an experienced Aerospace Engineer, technologist and Investor who has over 23 yrs. of experience working with some of the world’s largest industrial houses like AIRBUS (World’s largest Aircraft manufacturer), GENERAL ELECTRIC (World’s largest Jet Engine manufacturer) across INDIA, UK, EUROPE, USA and AFRICA. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees from Bangalore University in Computer Science and an MS from UK in Embedded Systems and Robotics. He has managed several large turnkey projects in Space, Aerospace and Medical sector, along with supporting Sales of over $2 billion over the last 5 years. He has been supporting the family business since 2012 and in 2020 set up NATURESPURE Health Products UK with a view to expand into the Nutraceutical/Food supplements market. He is a futurist and a believer in the power of ‘Direct Selling’ and is spearheading the groups foray into India with a very experienced team of promoters and advisors.

Guna Deivanayagam

Guna is a pleasing energetic multifaceted personality and a people person. He is a forward- thinker, astute businessman with unique presentation and man-management skills. He has graduated in Engineering (Instrumentation Technology) Till date he has rich 33+ years of experience in various fields and has rendered quality service in direct selling industry for more than 23 years with his valuable knowledge and insight and also has helped companies expand to India and other neighbouring countries During 2007 - 2010 he was selected as best Country Manager with Innovative ideas in Agel among all the countries it operated in. Led the Planning & Implementation team from MonaVie USA in the year 2011 and gave the SOP to establish and operate the company in India and achieved record breaking revenue in the first year of operation. Guna’s strong analytical and leadership skills coupled with his practical approach in problem solving enables him to communicate complex concepts with ease and work effectively with different peoples, cultures and situations. He loves playing Chess.

M.Syam Prakash

Head - Sales & Training

Syam Prakash is a Veteran leader and educator with over 4 decades of experience spread across Indian Railways and the Direct selling industry in India. Mr. Syam completed his graduation in Vellore (Defence Studies) and then spent 22 years with Indian Railways. He came across the Direct Selling Industry in his early 40s and decided to take the plunge as he felt it aligned perfectly with his passion to do better for himself. He took a big risk in quitting a Central Government job to pursue this role, as he left he could make a difference and so he did! His curiosity to learn and educate himself on the industry by books and training helped him grow and mature as an ideal Direct Seller. He created a training system for his team and established teams across various countries like South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Malaysia and Singapore apart from various states across the Indian subcontinent. During his 23+ year journey in this industry as a Direct seller, trainer, Strategist he was able to travel to over 18 countries as a result of being an over achiever in these roles. With his storied career and experience, he is all set for his new role as Head, Sales and Training thus strengthening Team NaturesPure's Management. Mr. Dilip Behera works in a leading Hospitality Management and Travel B2B company VIA .COM as VP-Business development and as a “Country Director “ for a USA/Malaysia based hospitality company. Worked and penetrated North East market in a big way as Head – Marketing in Agel INDIA, a US based Direct Selling Company for 4 years Mr. Dilip Behera has acknowledged expertise in aviation spanning 20 years, in Indian Air Force. He also has 10+ years of experience in various business domains such as Airlines, Software, Retail, Entertainment, Media, Malls, Hotels & resorts, Restaurants, Health & Beauty Spa industries. He has a rich expertise in infra development like airport hangars pre- engineering building, Government and private Projects. He recently completed 3 hotel PMC projects along with the prestigious Odisha govt much awaited sports infra project “BIJU PATNIAK INDOOR STADIUM ROOFING WORK FIFTY THOUSAND SQM IN MUNICIPALITY/NAC APPROXIMATELY 45 NUMBERS in 30 districts, which was COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY “. He recently helped to manufacture ‘MAKE IN INDIA‘ product line waterless toilet and toilet cubicles under the banner of MSME company m/s Hypermart Solutions.

Vijayachandran B. has around 4 decades of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Direct Selling industries. He holds multiple graduate degrees in Science. He worked with the Pharmaceutical Industry for 15yrs until the year 2000. Since 2000 he ventured into the Direct selling industry for the last 24 years as a successful Direct Seller of different Multi- National Companies apart from his proficiency as a Product Trainer and Marketeer. He brings with him excellent product knowledge and is a key person who helps develop the next generation of products at the company.

Philip George

Director

Philip George, is an astute businessman who was running successfully a Textile Unit, into manufacturing with a good distribution network where he has developed a vast client base for more than 15 years till 2005. He ventured into Direct Selling as an Independent Business Owner and built a successful business network for the past two decades from 2005 till date all over Kerala and also in other parts of the country by demonstrating strong leadership serving the Distributors and Customers to utmost satisfaction Philip George is fondly called by everyone as “Aby” and is a Science graduate and does a lot of community service in his free time apart from spending time with his family.

T.M.Mathai is an Industry veteran with nearly 6 decades of experience across India, Africa, UK in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical , Manufacturing, Materials, Shipping and Trading industries. He is a graduate in Commerce from University of Delhi, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Shipping. He started his career with the Sarabhai Group from 1965 to 1974 in Materials management for Pharma and Chemical companies. From 1974 to 1980, he was instrumental in working with India’s white Revolution project as Senior Executive in the Bombay Office handling import and distribution of milk powder/butter/butter oil for India. He had the privilege of working directly under Dr V.Kurien – ‘The milkman of India’. From 1980 to 2020, he worked in setting up Chemical trading, Chemical & Pharmaceutical manufacturing plants and successful running of these industries in Nigeria, India resulting in investment of over $100 million. In 2020 he was instrumental in guiding the next generation of the family in starting up NATURESPURE Health Products UK, for the manufacture of Nutraceuticals/Food supplements and plant based beverages and marketing into Africa, India and future markets like USA.
